COVID-19 Update To Our Clients

A message to the public from Prain Law, PLLC: Throughout the current situation involving COVID-19, we here at Prain Law are continuing our operations in the usual fashion to the extent possible and permissible by law. We are dedicated to continuing to serve our clients to the fullest extent, and we are also accepting new cases as normal.

We have modified our operations to conform with Governor Whitmer‘s March 23, 2020 Executive Order No. 2020–21, Including operating remotely. Our designated workers whose presence may be necessary to conduct minimum basic operations, pursuant to Section 4(b) of the Order, are Kathi Speas and Brian J. Prain.

We encourage everyone to stay safe and healthy until this difficult time ends, and should you have a legal matter of the type that we handle, we encourage you to continue to reach out to us, as we are continuing to take phone calls and offer consultations over the telephone and take new cases as usual. However, as always, we only offer consultation or representation for those currently under investigation or who have current cases pending in Court. You will not receive any response if your inquiry is only regarding an old case, post-plea/conviction relief, or Sex Offender Registry removal

Prain Law, PLLC is focused only on the types charges featured on our website. This helps us deliver the decisive, effective advocacy for which our clients know us. We only serve individuals currently under investigation or who have a current case pending in court. Our firm does not represent injury victims, defendants who have already taken a plea or have been sentenced, or those seeking to expunge a criminal record. We do not respond to anyone who is not involved in a pending investigation or who has a court case for a type of charge we do not handle, but we wish you the very best of luck.
